Organizational History

Some Organizations Begin
With a Business Idea.
Ours Began With Compassion.

BlessAngel Solutions, Inc. exists because a group of healthcare professionals refused to look away from what they saw every day — seniors forced to choose between housing, medication, and food.

Two nurses, one shared vision

Where It Began

A Heartbreaking Reality

In 2024, two dedicated nurses, Grace Smith and Ginette Civil, shared a vision of creating safe, affordable housing for vulnerable older adults who had nowhere else to turn.

Drawing upon decades of experience caring for patients, they witnessed a heartbreaking reality: far too many seniors were forced to choose between paying for housing, medications, food, or other basic necessities. Others faced the unimaginable fear of homelessness after a lifetime of contributing to their families and communities.

Determined to make a difference, they founded BlessAngel Enterprises with the hope of creating housing that would restore dignity, stability, and hope.

Building the Foundation

Expertise Joins the Mission

Shortly thereafter, fellow nurse Stacey Bennett joined the effort as a consultant, bringing additional expertise and a shared commitment to serving those in need.

Recognizing that turning this vision into reality would require strategic planning and sustainable funding, Ms. Bennett invited retired mental health professional, educator, and nonprofit leader Amina Hines to help develop fundraising strategies and organizational infrastructure.

Then Tragedy Struck

The Dream Was Put on Hold

Before the vision could be fully realized, co-founder Ginette Civil became seriously ill. As the team focused on supporting their colleague and dear friend, BlessAngel Enterprises was ultimately dissolved.

For many organizations, that might have been the end of the story.

But the need did not disappear.

The Need Kept Growing

They Could Not Look Away

Every day, more older adults continued to lose their homes. Rising housing costs, fixed incomes, and limited affordable housing options pushed increasing numbers of seniors into housing insecurity and homelessness.

The founders knew they could not ignore what they had seen firsthand throughout their healthcare careers.

A Renewed Promise

Beginning Again —
Not to Rebuild, But to Renew

Inspired by Ms. Civil's compassion and determined to honor her legacy, Stacey Bennett encouraged Grace Smith and Amina Hines to begin again — not simply to rebuild an organization, but to renew a promise to the people who needed them most. That renewed commitment gave birth to BlessAngel Solutions in May 2026.

Incorporation

BlessAngel Solutions, Inc. is formally incorporated, turning the vision into an organization.

They envisioned welcoming shared living communities where residents could experience safety, belonging, independence, and renewed hope — a model built on everything they had learned and everything they had lost.

Where We Stand Today

Built on Resilience and Compassion

Today, BlessAngel Solutions stands on the foundation of resilience, compassion, and an unwavering belief that every person deserves a safe place to call home.

The organization is committed to addressing one of our nation's most urgent challenges — the growing shortage of safe, affordable housing for able-bodied seniors who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Every home we open represents more than a roof over someone's head. It represents restored dignity, renewed independence, and the opportunity for someone to age with security rather than fear.
